I’m currently a college student majoring in Family Studies. I honestly still have no idea what I’m going to do. I have to admit the main reason I have chosen Family Studies is because since I was a little girl the only career that stuck in my mind was being a wife and stay-at-home mom. Part one check! As of January 5, 2013, God gave me a wonderful husband Nathan. Part two will have to wait for a little while.
As the youngest, I’ve had difficulty finding my own voice. The way I got around that was being the loudest and most obnoxious child. I sang (still do) everything I did and added sound affects to almost everything. Now that I’ve matured (somewhat), I’m realizing that I don’t necessarily have to have different interests than my sisters. I can do the same types of things and still be an individual. I am hoping Grace Elizabeth’s shows the many ways we have similar passions but go about them differently.
I love to be active, especially outdoors. However, I very much dislike the cold, so during winter I rarely make it out of the apartment. I used to run cross-country in high school, but after graduating I haven’t run consecutively in over a year. I am now trying to get into a regular running routine and am super excited because my husband is going to join me! A personal goal for me-God willing- is to someday run a marathon.
